JOB SUMMARY:

Responsibilities include assisting in maximizing workflow and throughput by taking a direct role by ensuring the correct parts and components that are of acceptable quality at designated locations when production requires them.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

· Review product from suppliers to ensure correct part number and part description are assigned to material being audited. Hand Truck, Pallet Jack or Fork Truck

· Verify that material being audited is correctly labeled and count is correct

· Inspect received material/components to ensure Polaris Marine standards are met.

· Report/log findings in designated site on the inventory control system.

· Relocate material to required location if results of audit dictate doing so.

· If Forklift assigned, perform Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services as directed on powered fork lifts

· Maintain a safe, organized and clean working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.

· Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Employee must have good time management skills
• Able to drive a forklift
• Able to read blue prints, pick lists, and bill of materials
• Able to do simple math (counting, adding, multiplying, dividing)
• Able to follow instructions and problem-solve
• Able to stand and walk for 8 hours
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch and or crawl
• Willingness to do outdoor work in winter

Other Skills/Abilities

• Computer skills in Excel preferred
• Previous warehouse experience
• Previous Inventory experience
• Computer skills in Excel and or MRP system preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Self-motivated

PPE Requirements

• Safety glasses with approved side shields
• Gloves when lifting or carrying
