Trainer

About the Role We’re seeking a Trainer to develop, coach, and certify high‑performing teams across our franchise locations in Northern Virginia and West Virginia. This role ensures consistent execution of the Valvoline SuperPro process through hands‑on in-bay training, classroom facilitation, and new store opening support. You’ll play a key part in driving safety, service quality, and operational excellence across the network. What You’ll Do

• Deliver hands-on in‑bay coaching to reinforce safety, service quality, and procedural accuracy
• Facilitate classroom training on operations, leadership, and safety
• Support new store openings, onboarding, and post‑launch stabilization
• Conduct operational audits and provide actionable performance feedback
• Partner with Operations leadership to analyze performance trends and identify training needs
• Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and reporting

What We’re Looking For

• Management experience or similar role preferred
• 6+ months automotive experience or 1+ year retail shift lead/keyholder experience
• Strong coaching, facilitation, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and computer platform experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varied environmental conditions
