Molding Supervisor

SHIFT SUPERVISOR

We are looking for a 3rd Shift Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage shift operations, including organizing, planning, and scheduling work, along with directing, instructing, and training employees on proper methods and procedures.
• Complete the operator assignment sheet, along with machine start-up list & tool change list, prior to the beginning of each shift for distribution.
• Manage floor & production support staff throughout the shift, making regular checks & ensuring any quality or production issues are being addressed in real time. Ensure that the necessary supervisor & mold change checklists are completed.
• Assist in managing housekeeping & ensuring all safety guidelines are followed.
• Work with shift support team to approach & solve issues in a structured manner for proper root cause analysis.
• Clearly communicate information from management and/or HR to shift employees as needed.
• Complete performance reviews for employees annually.
• Document warnings and/or issues as needed.

Experience:

• Previous plastic injection molding experience: 3-5 years (Preferred)
• Previous supervisory experience: 1-3 years (Preferred)
• Candidate should be willing to attend needed training.

Work Location: In person
