ASSISTANT MANAGER

Pickup & Delivery Pizza Restaurant We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and hardworking Assistant Manager to join our team at our busy pickup and delivery pizza shop. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to keep daily operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities - Assist with overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring smooth, efficient service. - Answer incoming phone calls and accurately take customer orders. - Provide friendly, professional customer service and resolve customer concerns. - Prepare pizzas and other menu items according to restaurant standards. - Safely and efficiently operate a flat deck pizza oven. - Assist with food preparation, including prepping dough, toppings, and sauces. - Manage food and supply ordering to maintain proper inventory levels. - Monitor inventory and ensure proper food rotation (FIFO) to maintain freshness, quality, and reduce waste. - Train new employees on food preparation, customer service, equipment operation, and restaurant procedures. - Help supervise, motivate, and support team members during shifts. - Maintain food quality, portion control, and consistency. - Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are followed. - Assist with opening and closing duties and other daily restaurant responsibilities as needed. Job Requirements Must be available to work weekends. Previous restaurant or pizza shop experience preferred. Prior management or leadership experience is a plus. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to lead by example and work alongside team members. Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
