TITLE: Long-Term Substitute Aide

LOCATION: Elementary School

SALARY: Board-approved substitute aide rate: Minimum Wage plus $1.17

CLOSING DATE OF APPLICATION: October 30, 2026

ANTICIPATED START DATE: ASAP (anticipated 10/26/26, through 1/15/27)

DUTIES:

Special Education Classroom Aide

• Assist teacher with daily classroom activities and instruction. •Provide individual and small-group assistance to students under the direction of the classroom teacher. •Support students with academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and daily living needs. •Assist with implementing student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavioral support plans as directed. •Supervise and support students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, and other school activities. •Help maintain a safe, positive, and structured learning environment. •Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to support student success. •Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or administration.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Experience working with children, particularly students with disabilities, preferred. •Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and related service providers.
