Location: UCEN Café – University of Michigan–Flint Position: Grill Cook Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Pay: $18–$21 per hour (based on experience)

Picasso Restaurant Group is looking for a dependable, experienced, and motivated Grill Cook to join our team at the University of Michigan–Flint UCEN Café!

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in preparing quality food, and works well with others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to order, including breakfast and lunch selections.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Keep the grill station clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with food preparation, inventory, and daily kitchen operations.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.

Qualifications

• Previous grill or line cook experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
