Maintenance Worker I - Starting wage $19.66 hour This position assists with solid waste collection, maintaining water and sewer lines, repairing streets, and operating department equipment. This employee should possess a strong mechanical aptitude, and effective communication and public relation skills.

Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required. This employee must obtain a commercial drivers license and permits for job related activities are required. This position also requires that employees obtain training in CPR, confined spaces, hazardous waste, basic first aid, excavation, and trenching. Special Requirements Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.
