Original job description

Description

Percepto is building the operating system for autonomous operations. We give the operators of energy and critical infrastructure one certainty: nothing changes on their assets without them knowing first. Our platform turns autonomous and remote data capture into one always-current, verified picture of every asset an operator is responsible for:

  • Axion: our open, hardware-agnostic Physical AI platform. It runs on Percepto drones and on the fleets customers already own, including Skydio and DJI.
  • AIM: the command-and-control center for autonomous, one-to-many drone operations.
  • Ranger and Harbor: our autonomous drone and the station that lets it fly with no one on site. Fortune 500 operators in oil and gas, electric utilities, solar and heavy industry trust Percepto. We hold a nationwide FAA Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) waiver. Percepto is headquartered in Austin, Texas, runs its Remote Operations Center in Palm Beach, Florida, and has offices in Houston and Midland.

Position Summary: We're hiring a Demand Generation Manager to build and run the engine that fills Percepto's US pipeline. You'll own campaigns from idea to closed revenue: plan them, build them, launch them across channels, measure them and make them better each cycle. This is a hands-on role for a HubSpot power user who is as comfortable in a campaign brief as in a dashboard. It's a startup environment: many priorities at once, new campaigns going out every week, and decisions driven by data. Our buyers are operations, reliability and safety leaders at large energy and utility companies, with long, multi-stakeholder buying cycles. You'll design programs that reach whole buying committees, not just single leads.

Responsibilities

Own campaigns end to end

  • Build the quarterly demand plan with the CMO and sales leadership: targets, budget, channel mix and calendar.
  • Launch new campaigns every week and run each from brief to post-mortem: audience, offer, messaging, creative, landing pages, nurture, sales follow-up and reporting.
  • Launch campaigns by segment (upstream and downstream oil and gas, transmission and distribution utilities, solar, heavy industry) and by persona, from the C-suite and VP Operations to EHS, reliability, innovation and drone program leads.
  • Support product launches, including Axion, with demand programs that turn awareness into pipeline.
  • Manage the program budget, track spend against results, and move money to what works.

Account-based marketing (ABM)

  • Build and maintain the target account list with sales, based on our ideal customer profile (ICP).
  • Run 1:1, 1:few and 1:many ABM programs that reach entire buying committees.
  • Use intent data and website visitor signals to find in-market accounts and alert sales in real time.
  • Coordinate multi-touch plays across ads, email, direct mail, SDR outreach and events.

Channels

  • Paid media: LinkedIn (sponsored content, lead gen forms, Conversation Ads), Google Search, YouTube, programmatic and retargeting, plus trade media and industry newsletters.
  • Email and nurture: automated, persona-based nurture tracks, newsletters and re-engagement campaigns, including outreach to closed-lost deals.
  • Website and SEO: conversion-focused landing pages, A/B tests, SEO and AI-search (answer engine) visibility, and website personalization.
  • Content offers: use cases, case studies, ROI calculators, white papers and video, built with product marketing.
  • Events and webinars: industry trade shows, field events, executive dinners and a recurring webinar program, with full pre- and post-event follow-up.
  • Partners: co-marketing with technology partners, drone service providers and channel partners.
  • Outbound support: sequences, plays and messaging for SDRs that line up with live campaigns.

Marketing operations and data

  • Own HubSpot as our core marketing platform: workflows, lists, forms, scoring, reporting and its sync with sales systems, including Salesforce where needed.
  • Define the lead lifecycle with sales: lead scoring, MQL, SQL and opportunity stages, routing and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Keep data clean: enrichment, deduplication, UTM standards and campaign naming.
  • Make sure tracking, consent and privacy practices meet current rules.

Analytics and reporting

  • Build dashboards that track the full funnel, from first touch to closed revenue.
  • Set up and maintain multi-touch attribution, and report on marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline.
  • Report weekly on campaign results and monthly on pipeline, conversion rates, cost per opportunity and return on spend.
  • Run tests (A/B and multivariate) and use the results to improve each campaign.
  • Turn data into clear recommendations for the CMO, sales and the executive team.

AI and automation

  • Use AI tools to speed up research, content variations, personalization and analysis.
  • Build automated workflows that cut manual work for marketing and sales.

Tools you'll use You should have hands-on, admin-level experience with tools in most of these categories. We care more about how deeply you know a category than about the specific brands.
