Overview\ Were building the next generation of PepsiCos mobile applications that power our business and deliver modern digital capabilities to our frontline employees. As a Principal Software Engineer (React Native), youll lead design and development of high-performing mobile apps, mentor other engineers, and help bring new digital capabilities (including AI) to life.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where youll set the standard for mobile excellence at PepsiCo.
Responsibilities\
- Lead the architecture and hands-on development of mobile apps using React Native\
- Partner with product managers, UX designers, and cloud engineers to deliver global solutions\
- Establish best practices for coding, testing, and deployment\
- Mentor engineers and guide technical decision-making across the team\
- Explore and Adopt tools such as AI copilots and agents to streamline development and boost productivity.\
- Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between \$106,400 - \$178,100\
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process\
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually\
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement\

- Qualifications\
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field\
- 8+ years in software engineering, with experience building large-scale mobile applications\
- 3+ years hands-on with React Native (TypeScript/JavaScript)\
- Strong knowledge of iOS/Android app development, APIs, and app store workflows\
