Key Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and potentially reach trucks.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Secure materials for shipment, including climbing ladders to properly strap and secure loads.
• Follow shipping schedules, work orders, and supervisor instructions accurately.
• Conduct equipment inspections and operate material-handling equipment safely.
• Work primarily in an outdoor environment and maintain productivity in all weather conditions.
• Assist with general warehouse, yard, shipping, and receiving operations.
• Complete daily tasks independently while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift and forklift equipment required.
• Reach truck experience is a plus.
• Experience loading and unloading trucks and staging materials.
• Experience securing loads for transportation.
• Background in warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or material handling environments.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders and physically secure loads.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
