Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $21 - $21 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Welder:

• Join metal components using MIG and TIG welding techniques to fabricate, repair, and modify exhaust systems
• Remove and replace damaged mufflers, catalytic converters, exhaust pipes, and related components
• Install new exhaust system parts according to specifications and safety standards
• Read and interpret work orders, sketches, blueprints, and schematics to determine accurate measurements and layouts
• Measure, cut, fit, and align metal components for proper installation and welding
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, durability, and structural integrity
• Troubleshoot exhaust system issues and perform necessary repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures and regulations

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Candidates must complete a welding test to evaluate their MIG and TIG welding skills

• Previous welding experience needed
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of different welding techniques and materials
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols
• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
