Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Food Production Sanitation Worker:

• Clean and sanitize food production equipment, processing areas, floors, walls, and other facility surfaces
• Apply approved foaming and cleaning solutions to equipment and production areas following established sanitation procedures
• Scrub, scrape, wash, and remove food residue, buildup, and debris from equipment and work surfaces
• Perform cleaning duties at various heights and levels, including climbing ladders as required
• Follow established sanitation procedures, food safety guidelines, and cleaning schedules
• Properly use sanitation chemicals, cleaning tools, and required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas to help prevent contamination in food production
• Follow workplace safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or sanitation concerns
• Complete assigned sanitation duties thoroughly and within required timeframes

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening), Weekends

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• 1–2 years of previous sanitation, industrial cleaning, or commercial cleaning experience required
• Previous food manufacturing, dairy processing, or production facility sanitation experience preferred
• Ability to work in hot, wet, and physically demanding environments
• Ability to climb ladders and perform cleaning duties at various heights
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, scrub, scrape, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to follow strict personal hygiene and food safety requirements
• Must wear appropriate work clothing, including jeans, a shirt, and all required PPE in accordance with facility policies
• Ability to safely use approved cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment
• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and attention to cleanliness and safety
• Background check and drug testing required
