Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $25 - $25 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Production Worker:
- Stack, move, and handle aluminum ingots weighing approximately 28 lbs each
- Frequently lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs
- Perform visual quality checks on finished products
- Assist with production, material handling, and general plant operations
- Operate forklifts and other equipment after training
- Assist with routine cleanup and basic maintenance tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines
- Work around high-temperature production equipment and changing environmental conditions
- Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals
Shift Timings: 2nd Shift (Evening)
Job requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- Recent hands-on experience in general labor, manufacturing, production, warehouse, construction, material handling, or a similar physical work environment preferred
- Experience working in fast-paced or production-driven environments
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts
- Comfortable working in hot and cold environments
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Background check and drug test required
