Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*

What you'll be doing as an Appliance Delivery Helper:

• Assist with loading and unloading household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and dishwashers
• Help transport and position appliances at customer locations
• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver large and heavy appliances using appropriate moving equipment
• Assist delivery drivers with moving appliances through doorways, hallways, and stairways
• Protect floors, walls, doorways, and surrounding property from damage during deliveries
• Remove packaging materials and maintain clean work areas
• Follow all safety procedures and instructions from supervisors and delivery personnel
• Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Previous experience in appliance delivery, moving, material handling, or general labor preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to safely move heavy and bulky items with assistance and appropriate equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs throughout the shift
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Attention to detail when handling appliances and working in customer locations
• Reliable transportation to the assigned work location.
