ABOUT US

Blueberry is building the autonomous 1:1 marketer. Our AI enables brands to drive personalized conversations with every customer, supercharge lifecycle marketing outcomes, and drive revenue.

We’re:

Enterprise-proven: Trusted by the Fortune 500, San Francisco 49ers, and DTC brands generating $100M+ in annual sales.
Growing quickly: In six months, continuously doubled revenue and customers onboarded.
Talent-Dense: 7 people, 75% ex-founders
Early: The operating systems, playbooks, and leadership team that scale Blueberry are still being built.

AI is changing how every consumer brand communicates with its customers. We are defining that shift - and we’re looking for someone who wants their fingerprints on the company and category we build.

THE ROLE

Brands with millions of followers rely on Blueberry to authentically engage their customers at scale. As our Founding Engineer, you’ll be a co-architect of everything we build at Blueberry. You’ll be responsible for shaping the technical foundation of the company: product, platform, and team culture.

You’ll work directly with the founders and founding engineering team to:

Build and scale the core product that enables brands to authentically engage millions of followers.
Make foundational architecture and stack decisions that allow us to move fast today while preparing for global scale tomorrow.
Translate customer needs into elegant, resilient technical systems that balance speed, quality, and reliability.
Set the tone for our engineering culture - one that is high-caliber, collaborative, and deeply product-minded.

You’ll have massive influence over how Blueberry evolves, from the codebase to the customer experience to the engineering org itself.

Tech Stack: Convex, Next.js, AI SDK, and more

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Build customer-facing features end-to-end that directly impact how brands engage their followers, from requirements through launch.
Turn real customer feedback and usage data into product improvements that feel intuitive and reliable.
Collaborate deeply with design to translate flows and interactions into well engineered solutions.
Prototype quickly, ship often, and iterate based on usage and metrics.
Maintain and improve code quality, tooling, and test coverage so the product remains reliable as we scale.
Build, monitor, and improve operational telemetry and observability for user flows that matter.
Work across the stack with a focus on delivering delightful user experiences while balancing performance and scalability.
Contribute to technical standards and practices that help the engineering team move fast with confidence.
Participate in architectural discussions that will influence how the system scales and performs.

WHO YOU ARE

A full stack engineer with 3 plus years of professional experience building SaaS, AI enabled, or consumer applications.
Comfortable moving fast in an early stage environment and shipping features that land in the hands of real customers.
You take initiative and care deeply about the quality of your work.
You do not just point out problems, you roll up your sleeves and solve them.
You hold yourself to a high bar and look for clean, maintainable solutions.
You bring a clear point of view on what excellent code and product experience looks like while staying collaborative and low ego.
Entrepreneurial by nature, you thrive in ambiguity and enjoy shaping product from the ground up.
You want to build with others who share the same high standards and ownership mindset.
Familiarity with AI or large language model powered products.
Background building consumer facing products, personalization engines, or customer data systems.
Previous early stage startup or founding team experience.
Experience with social media APIs such as Instagram, TikTok, or Meta.
Experience writing infrastructure for observability, performance monitoring, or alerting.

WHY JOIN US

Own meaningful product early. You will ship features used by real customers from day one and directly shape how brands engage millions of followers.
Founding-level influence. You will help define product direction, engineering standards, and how the team builds while decisions are still lightweight and impact is high.
Product-driven culture. Engineers work closely with design, founders, and customers, with decisions grounded in real usage and outcomes.
Momentum with substance. Live customers, early revenue, and strong investor backing mean you are joining at a moment where great execution compounds fast.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Office in SF: We believe the best work is done in person. We cover lunch everyday in our office, and dinner for days you work late.
Team Outings: We believe that world-class companies are built by world-class people, so you can expect team dinners, escape rooms, and yes, NFL games
Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with 401(k) matching, Unlimited PTO
Build the future of how brands interact with consumers, authentically
An opportunity to lead and define our company and industry.

Want to help shape how the fastest growing brands connect with their customers? We’d love to meet you.
