Location: Torrance, CA | Payrate: $27 - $29 DOE | Schedule: 6AM - 1430PM

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace parts manufacturing industry to find a motivated Material Handler who will help keep machine shop operations running efficiently by ensuring operators have the tools and materials they need to succeed.

What You’ll Do

• Support Daily Workflow: Partner with the Workflow Specialist to collect and organize data used to plan daily machine shop activities.
• Manage the Tool Crib: Keep tools organized, stocked, and readily available for production needs.
• Equip Operators for Success: Gather and deliver the necessary tooling to help machine operators complete their jobs efficiently.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in 5S projects and Kaizen events to improve workplace organization, efficiency, and productivity.
• Maintain Accurate Data: Collect, enter, and organize information using computer systems and other tracking tools.
• Keep Operations Moving: Monitor tooling needs, maintain organized work areas, and collaborate with team members to support production schedules.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with data.
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new processes, tools, and systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Experience in material handling, inventory control, warehousing, or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with tool cribs, machine shop operations, or production support.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement practices.
• Experience collecting production data or supporting workflow planning.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour
