Location: Florence, AL| Payrate: $33.35/hour | Schedule: 2nd shift, 2pm to 10:30pm

THE ROLE & YOUR IMPACT

As an Machinist, you'll operate and assist with manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision metal and plastic components. Working alongside experienced machinists, you'll learn machining techniques, blueprint reading, and quality inspection while helping maintain high standards for safety and product quality.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Operate manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, drills, and grinders.
• Read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Load materials and assist with basic machine setups.
• Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments as needed.
• Assist experienced machinists with tool changes, setups, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain production records and report defects or equipment issues.
• Follow safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean work area using 5S standards.

WHAT YOU BRING

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school, vocational training, or manufacturing experience.
• Basic knowledge of CNC machining.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools, hand tools, and shop equipment.

Pay Details: $33.35 per hour
