What You'll Do Project Leadership
- Lead capital projects from concept through closeout
- Manage engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and project completion activities
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining budgets, schedules, and scope
Engineering & Technical Support
- Provide technical guidance and engineering expertise
- Develop practical and cost-effective solutions
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, reliability, and external partners
Safety & Compliance
- Champion a strong safety culture
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in safety reviews, audits, and contractor safety activities
Financial & Business Planning
- Develop budgets, cost estimates, and capital forecasts
- Prepare capital authorization requests and economic evaluations
- Support capital planning and business improvement initiatives
Contractor & Vendor Management
- Manage supplier and contractor relationships
- Coordinate bidding, procurement, and construction activities
- Oversee project execution and contractor performance
Team Collaboration
- Partner with engineering, operations, maintenance, and leadership teams
- Mentor and support less-experienced engineers
- Build strong relationships across the organization
Qualifications
🎓 Bachelor's Degree Required ✅ 5-10 Years of Engineering Experience
✅ Strong background in:
- Capital Project Management
- Manufacturing or Facility Engineering
- Mechanical Systems
- Equipment Infrastructure
✅ Experience with:
- Hydraulics & Pneumatics
- Basic PLC and Electrical Systems
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Contractor Management
