Special Education Aide - Resource

Position: Special Education Aide - Resource East Brook Middle School Effective Date(s): 2026-2027 school year Reports To:Principal or Teacher or Child Study Team Employment Terms: 10-month school year; 5.75 hours per day Non-affiliated position Not eligible for benefits Job Goal(s):To assist the principal and/or teachers in maintaining a well-organized, smoothly functioning class environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and resource materials.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Ability to work effectively with school aged children
• Demonstrated interest in education and students
