Our kitchen team plays a key role in this mission by providing fresh, high-quality meals for both our banquet events and daily guests. We are currently seeking a passionate and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team.

Job Overview:

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes for large group events as well as daily service at our on-site restaurant. You’ll maintain high standards of, cleanliness, and organization while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist with banquet event meal prep, setup, and breakdown
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas
• Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
• Follow and troubleshoot recipes/menu items with little or no difficulty
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
• Collaborate with the kitchen and event teams to ensure timely service
• Follow all and sanitation standards
• Maintain inventory and assist with stock rotation

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a line cook or banquet cook required
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
• Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• ServSafe certification is a plus
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Work Environment:

• Must be able to stand for long periods
• Required to carry, walk, sit, push, pull, and be able to lift/carry 50 pounds
• Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water
• Must be able speak, read and understand basic cooking directions
• Evening, weekend, and holidays hours may be required
• Fast paced environment
