Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking a detail-oriented Depalletizer to join the Woodland Distribution Center team. PCP is dedicated to investing in its people and fostering a culture of service, where each employee can do their best to make affordable, high-quality food for customers across North America.

Our new DC is a 500,000 sq. ft. packaging, labeling, and distribution facility supporting retail and foodservice customers. With advanced technology and a strong commitment to quality and sustainability, the DC is a model for excellence in distribution and logistics. This facility is a year-round labeling and shipping operation with approximately 70 employees and three production lines.

Pay Rate: $26.97 per hour. This is a full-time, on-site role (40 hours per week), with occasional weekend and overtime hours required as needed. This position is part of a seniority-based (CBA) Collective Bargaining Unit, and you must be available for first and second shift.

The Depalletizer works under the direction of DC Management, such as a Manager, Superintendent, or Salaried Supervisor, and has full responsibility for:

Responsibilities:

  • Must verify that the correct product is being fed to the label machine by verifying the can codes.
  • Must keep an adequate flow of product to the label machine in order to allow the label line to continually run.
  • Must be able to use the brite can and case counters to correctly send the required amount of unlabeled product to the label machine in order to complete any order.
  • Must remove all of the dents and bloated cans from the line before they reach the label machine.
  • Must be able to write the correct count on the unit tickets of each partial pallet remaining from any order.
  • Must be able to interpret written and verbal instructions given in English.
  • Must be able to do basic math.
  • Remove and stack the divider sheets.
  • Must correct all can jams occurring at the machine.
  • Must perform all of the necessary quality, safety and operating checks required for each machine that the operator is working with.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials up to 50 lbs throughout your shift.
  • Comfort reading, understanding, and following verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Solid basic math skills for verifying order counts and inventory details.
  • Strong team mindset, treating coworkers with courtesy and respect at all times.
  • Clear communication skills when coordinating with peers and line leads across the facility.

Why Join PCP? Become part of a team where your work truly matters. For over 50 years, our farmer-owned company has led the industry through innovation and a shared commitment to excellence. As an employee represented by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), you’ll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently, and reliably every day.

At PCP, we believe in providing more than just a job; we offer long-term stability and a benefits package you can truly count on:

  • Competitive hourly pay and overtime opportunities.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • A defined-benefit pension plan for long-term retirement security.
  • Paid time off including holidays, vacation, sick leave, and bereavement (per the CBA contract).
  • Employee Assistance Program and life insurance.
  • Reliable year-round work with a company that has been farmer-owned for more than 50 years.

Our Woodland Distribution Center is located in Yolo County, just minutes from Sacramento, offering a historic downtown, strong agricultural heritage, and an affordable, family-friendly quality of life.

Sponsorship: This role is not eligible for current or future visa sponsorship.
