Original job description

Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking a detail-oriented Auto Caser Stacker to join the Woodland Distribution Center team. PCP is dedicated to investing in its people and fostering a culture of service, where each employee can do their best to make affordable, high-quality food for customers across North America.

Our new DC is a 500,000 sq. ft. packaging, labeling, and distribution facility supporting retail and foodservice customers. With advanced technology and a strong commitment to quality and sustainability, the DC is a model for excellence in distribution and logistics. This facility is a year-round labeling and shipping operation with approximately 70 employees and three production lines.

Pay Rate: $29.88 per hour. This is a full-time, on-site role (40 hours per week), with occasional weekend and overtime hours required as needed. This position is part of a seniority-based (CBA) Collective Bargaining Unit, and you must be available for first and second shift.

The Auto Caser Stacker is designated and works under the direction of DC Management, such as a Manager, Superintendent, or Salaried Supervisor, and has full responsibility for:

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor automated casing and case-stacking machines to ensure consistent production flow.
  • Make routine running adjustments to equipment and maintain necessary supplies, such as glue levels.
  • Perform required safety, operating, and quality checks across all machinery on your line.
  • Verify case markings and labels on all finished goods to ensure high standards of product accuracy.
  • Count completed orders and coordinate directly with label and depalletizer operators so line handoffs stay in sync.
  • Generate accurate pallet IDs and unit tickets using either manual documentation or computer entry.
  • Select and stage the proper pallets, with or without slip-sheets, based on order specifications.
  • Assist teammates with smooth line changeovers between different product runs.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area around your equipment.
  • Step in to relieve or support other line positions during peak periods and breaks.
  • Participate in team discussions and share practical ideas for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials up to 50 lbs throughout your shift.
  • Comfort reading, understanding, and following verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Solid basic math skills for verifying order counts and inventory details.
  • Strong team mindset, treating coworkers with courtesy and respect at all times.
  • Clear communication skills when coordinating with peers and line leads across the facility.

Why Join PCP? Become part of a team where your work truly matters. For over 50 years, our farmer-owned company has led the industry through innovation and a shared commitment to excellence. As an employee represented by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), you’ll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently, and reliably every day.

At PCP, we believe in providing more than just a job; we offer long-term stability and a benefits package you can truly count on:

  • Competitive hourly pay and overtime opportunities.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • A defined-benefit pension plan for long-term retirement security.
  • Paid time off including holidays, vacation, sick leave, and bereavement (per the CBA contract).
  • Employee Assistance Program and life insurance.
  • Reliable year-round work with a company that has been farmer-owned for more than 50 years.

Sponsorship: This role is not eligible for current or future visa sponsorship.
