Accounting Partner

Pacesetter Technology is looking for an entry-level Accounting Partner to assist in our financial operations. In this role, you will serve as a point of contact for all financial matters, working closely with our Controller and external accounting partners.

Responsibilities and opportunities:

• Support the Accounting team with day-to-day accounting and finance operations
• Organize and maintain digital accounting files and documentation
• Assist with data entry and basic transaction coding under supervision
• Help track outstanding items and follow up internally for missing information
• Assist in pulling reports for month-end close and management review
• Perform basic Excel tasks (sorting, filtering, formulas, pivots with guidance)
• Learn best practices for accuracy, documentation, and confidentiality
• Develop analytical skills over the course of employment by supporting higher-level financial tasks, including contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and projection exercises using real company data and established templates.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Technical Skills: Some knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP). Experience with financial management software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all financial reporting.
