Summary

At E2METRIX, an Ovivo company, we help customers tackle PFAS contamination, one of the water industry's most complex environmental challenges. We integrate PFAS removal, concentration, destruction, and polishing processes to deliver onsite PFAS destruction solutions.

As Sales Manager - PFAS Solutions, you will lead E2METRIX's North American commercial team, including product managers and some application engineers, and report to the General Manager. You will set priorities, strengthen accountability, and lead our largest and most technically complex sales pursuits.

This role requires an experienced water-industry professional who can quickly understand our technologies, earn credibility with customers and consultants, and provide immediate leadership to a growing team.

The role may be based in our Salt Lake City office under a hybrid working model or performed fully remote. Travel within the United States and Canada is expected to average 25-30%, with additional travel during conferences, pilot programs, and major project pursuits.

What You'll Do

Lead the commercial team

  • Lead, coach, and develop the product managers and application engineers responsible for growing E2METRIX's PFAS business.
  • Set commercial priorities, clarify ownership, coordinate resources, and maintain accountability across opportunities, proposals, pilots, conferences, and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, remove barriers, and strengthen the team's technical, commercial, and customer-facing capabilities.
  • Work with the General Manager to execute E2METRIX's commercial strategy and annual growth priorities.

Lead strategic sales pursuits

  • Lead E2METRIX's largest and most complex opportunities from early customer engagement through treatment-train development, testing, proposals, negotiations, and project handoff.
  • Build trusted relationships with municipal and industrial customers, engineering consultants, local sales representatives, and strategic partners.
  • Develop pursuit, pricing, risk, and commercial strategies that clearly communicate E2METRIX's differentiation.
  • Coordinate internal technical, engineering, legal, project, and executive resources and represent E2METRIX in customer meetings, industry events, and negotiations.

Own conferences and marketing execution

  • Manage E2METRIX's North American conference strategy, including event selection, budgets, work with our internal marketing team for booth planning, staffing, customer meetings, presentations, and follow-up.
  • Partner with our internal marketing team to translate business priorities into website campaigns, case studies, product collateral, webinars, technical papers, and presentations.
  • Set content priorities, coordinate technical contributors, maintain consistent market messaging, and monitor lead generation and commercial follow-up.

Provide technical-commercial leadership

  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of E2METRIX's PFAS portfolio and guide technology selection and integration for complete treatment trains.
  • Review process concepts, preliminary sizing, CAPEX and OPEX estimates, proposals, specifications, layouts, and customer presentations.
  • Ensure capabilities and limitations are communicated accurately and support effective handoff to Engineering, Project Management, and Project Execution.
  • Capture market intelligence and maintain strong CRM discipline, including accurate stages, next steps, forecasts, and customer interactions.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's or Master's M.S. degree preferred degree in Civil and Environmental, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or Process Engineering from an accredited university.
  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in municipal or industrial water and wastewater treatment, including process-equipment, technology, or integrated-solution sales.
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical-commercial teams and developing and closing complex capital projects.
  • Experience working with customers, engineering consultants, independent sales representatives, and channel partners in North America.
  • Experience with sales cycles that include bench testing, piloting, process development, specifications, proposals, and full-scale projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organization, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to explain advanced treatment concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Experience with commercial strategy, forecasting, conferences, marketing campaigns, or technical-content programs.
  • PFAS treatment, foam fractionation, electrochemical treatment, advanced oxidation, adsorption, or related experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Professional engineering registration is a plus.

Don't meet every requirement? If you bring strong water-industry experience, commercial leadership, technical curiosity, and ownership, we still encourage you to apply.
