Job Posting: Automotive Dealership Service Shuttle Driver
Position: Service Shuttle Driver Department: Service Department Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Service Manager / Service Director
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Service Shuttle Driver to join our automotive dealership team. The Service Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting dealership customers to and from the dealership while their vehicles are being serviced or repaired.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has a professional appearance, maintains a positive attitude, and takes pride in providing an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
•
Safely transport dealership customers to and from designated destinations, including homes, workplaces, and nearby locations.
•
Provide courteous, professional, and friendly customer service at all times.
•
Assist customers with entering and exiting the shuttle vehicle when needed.
•
Maintain an organized shuttle schedule and coordinate customer pickups and drop-offs with the Service Department.
•
Communicate with service advisors regarding customer transportation needs and scheduling changes.
•
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the shuttle vehicle, both inside and out.
•
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
•
Follow all traffic laws, dealership policies, and safety procedures.
•
Maintain accurate records of shuttle trips, mileage, and fuel usage as required.
•
Assist the Service Department with additional duties when needed.
Qualifications
•
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
•
Previous customer service or professional driving experience preferred.
•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•
Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented attitude.
•
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple transportation requests.
•
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
•
Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
•
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and represent the dealership positively.
Physical Requirements
•
Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
•
Ability to assist customers with mobility needs when appropriate.
•
Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the workday.
