Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union (OSSU) is seeking to combine two part-time Special Education positions for the 2026-2027 School Year. OSSU is seeking an innovative, enthusiastic, and collaborative professional to join us. The communities of OSSU share an enthusiastic commitment to place-based learning, sustainability education, whole-child and trauma-informed practices, proficiency-based learning, and farm-to-school. Our educators are collaborative, creative, lifelong learners who value rural culture. Our students are connected to nature, each other, and their community. We work together toward a vision of flourishing communities sustained by engaged, compassionate, skilled citizens. We are seeking professionals with demonstrated leadership, organization, and problem-solving expertise who share our passion for an integrated special education service delivery model within a multi-tiered system of support. The ideal candidates will demonstrate experience working with general education teachers to facilitate universally designed lessons, knowledge of special education rules and regulations, and a solid ability to integrate a variety of assessment information to support students.

Requirements

Demonstrated skill and experience in working with students with disabilities are required. License requirements are listed in the Job Description Section. 2+ years of experience in related fields.
