Aberdeen, MD | Full-Time | On-Site

Join our team at our Aberdeen office, where you'll collaborate directly with project managers, electricians, and leadership. This is a fully on-site opportunity offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and a supportive team environment.

We're seeking candidates with hands-on electrical field experience and a strong background in residential and commercial electrical estimating. Experience with estimating software and completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship program are important requirements for this position.

Job Description

As our Electrical Estimator, you'll play a key role in planning successful projects by developing accurate, competitive estimates for residential and commercial electrical construction.

• Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates, material takeoffs, and competitive project bids.
• Review construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and bid documents.
• Evaluate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs to develop accurate pricing.
• Use electrical estimating software to prepare and manage project estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, vendors, and field teams to understand project requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Research material pricing, analyze project costs, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Maintain organized estimating records, bid documentation, and project information.
• Help our team win new projects through accurate, timely, and well-prepared proposals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience with residential and commercial projects.
• 4+ years of hands-on electrical field experience.
• Completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship program.
• Experience using electrical estimating software and preparing material takeoffs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Basic understanding of accounting, construction costs, and project management principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and estimating technology.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Aberdeen, MD.
