Educational Assistant SLC-Temporary

Position: Educational Assistant SLC / 1.0 FTE / 8 hours per day Monday - Friday Temporary for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year Job Statement: Will work with individuals or groups of students to reinforce teacher instruction. Students served may have special handicapping conditions or behavioral concerns that require assistance for the student to succeed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to assist with toileting may be required
• General skills in mathematics, English and writing
• Ability to work with students and adults
• May be required to perform toileting duties.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children in groups or classroom setting desired
• Must be NCLB qualified:
• 2 years education at an institution of higher education
• Associates degree, or
• Successful completion of a competency assessment administered by the district on reading, writing, mathematics and instructional delivery skills

Salary/Benefits: Hourly Range: $23.74-$30.08 (placement on the salary range is based on years of experience) District pays PERS contribution. Excellent benefit package.
