POSITION: 4.25 hours Student Supervisor/School Bus Aide (M-F; school year only) Schedule: M-TH 11:15-1:45, 2:45-4:30
F: 11:15-1:45, 2:30-4:15
*Monday through Thursday 3:50pm-4:30pm will be on bus
PAY RATE: $15.00
QUALIFICATIONS FOR BUS ASSISTANT:
- Must be able to monitor and supervise students while being transported to and from school during non-educational times.
- Ability to work with “At Risk” students having difficulty adjusting to bus safety rules and regulations
- Cooperate and work with administrators, teachers and parents
- Punctual with proven history of good attendance at work
- Ability to perform duties and comply with all district requirements and Board of Education Policies
SKILLS REQUIRED/RECOMMENDED:
- Basic First Aid/CPR
- Behavioral Management
- Experience working with children
- Basic Communication Skills
- Basic Writing/Grammar Skills
- Record Keeping
- Lifting
