Position: Manufacturing Engineer [Req # 6157]

Location: 4900 W 78th St, Bloomington, MN 55435

Duties: Provide support to Sales Operations and Manufacturing in product configuration management. Engage in methodical troubleshooting and management/optimization of manufacturing operations. Develop manufacturing fixtures and calibration procedures. Validate content and vet procedures from development engineering to manufacturing. Provide process leadership to ensure the development of manufacturing of high-quality products utilizing advanced engineering methods and technology. Identify opportunities and present solutions to improve process flow and reduce cycle time. Participate as a key member of the Operations management team and offer recommended product strategies based on the company's capabilities and market needs. Prepare and present clear and understandable reports to members of senior management regarding status, progress, issues, mitigation plans, and suggested design or process solutions.

Requirements: Masters’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field plus 1 (one) year of experience. Skills required: electromechanical troubleshooting; Lean manufacturing and assembly efficiencies; computer-aided design and drafting (CAD); manufacturing engineering process and product lifecycle; and mechanical design. The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.

Salary: $97,335 – $103,000/year
