Special Needs Bus Aides hiring pool Hours-
- Upcoming School Year beginning August 24, 2026, except scheduled holidays
- Monday-Thursday, hours vary
Pay rate-
- $17.25/hour
Responsibilites-
- Adhere to the safety requirements when buckling a student into a car seat or safety vest
- Report any problems with the safety vest of car seat to the bus driver
- Follow all recommendations in loading/unloading/transportation procedures as defined by the IEP/504 team.
- Ensure the safety of students during loading/unloading/transportation
- Report any medical incidents to the Special Education Director
- Consistent attendance
Training Preferred
- CPR
- Positive Behavior Management Strategies
- Student-specific interventions/Medical plans
