Purpose or role of the position:

Specialized Cleaning Role for Wrestling: Keep wrestling locker rooms and practice rooms clean and disinfected before and after practices. Disinfect the weight room after wrestling workouts. Collect and hang up laundry. Collect and check-out team equipment, along with general help with event set-ups, etc. Because of the skin and bacterial special training rules within the sport of wresting this position is essential to keep the spread and overall prevention of breakouts during season. Team Manager Roles for Film and Stats: Home and Away events filming for the team. Recording includes match stats in program. Downloading matches and stats and appropriately organizing them. Also can help with scoreboard and Trackwrestling.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Push dirty laundry to housekeeping and hang up clean laundry (keep all off floors)
• Disinfect mats before and after practice and the weight room after team use
• Disinfect practice room walls, training equipment, and cardio equipment 2 times per week
• Collect, track, and pass out and collect all meet equipment
• General prep set up for home events
• Charge iPad for video, film competitions, download film and stats after events, organize in files and make sure iPads are charged and new memory space is ready for the next event

Required Credentials:

• Must be able to do some lifting or moving of bins, mats, etc.
• Must be available to work for home events on weekends and late weekdays
• Must be available to work training days and practices over class break periods (Thanksgiving, winter, and spring break)
