POSITION SUMMARY

The Machine Operator will set up, operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery to ensure parts and finished products meet quality and production standards. This position requires experience with high-speed machinery, precision measuring tools, production procedures, and basic equipment troubleshooting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up production machines by completing calibration, cleaning, and other start-up procedures.
• Control and adjust machine settings, including speed and operating parameters.
• Load raw materials or parts into semi-automated machinery.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Test machine operation throughout the shift to ensure proper performance.
• Identify and correct machine issues that occur during production.
• Inspect finished output for machine-related defects, errors, or quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of approved units, defective products, and production activity.
• Complete required activity logs and production documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures, including the consistent use of required protective equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent.
