POSITION SUMMARY: (WHAT, HOW, WHY)

The Assistant Production Manager (APM) supports the Production Manager in leading daily operations and team performance in Closeout Goods. This role provides hands-on leadership across production, ensures operational standards are consistently met, and serves as the manager-on-duty in the absence of the Production Manager. The APM plays a critical role in driving production efficiency, team development and execution of Goodwill's mission and brand standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Five (5) years of Retail or equivalent experience preferred
• Two (2) years of progressive retail leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience training, coaching, and developing associates
• Proficiency in scheduling, payroll, and workforce management systems
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Basic math and computer proficiency
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including openings, closings, weekends, and holidays

ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS: Proper lifting, stacking and sorting methods preferred.

• Ensure efficient production and pricing
