Summary / Primary Role:

The Manager, Digital Integrations leads the design, development, delivery, and operational support of enterprise integration solutions across Odyssey's technology ecosystem, providing technical and people leadership for a team of integration engineers supporting Odyssey business divisions, customers, carriers, and technology partners. This role plays a critical part in advancing Odyssey's integration capabilities across Boomi iPaaS, APIs, EDI/B2B, TMS, ERP platforms, and file-based integrations, driving Odyssey toward a more standardized, API-first integration architecture while maintaining the reliability of existing mission-critical integrations, and helping advance the responsible adoption of AI-assisted development and integration capabilities.

What You’ll Do:

We're looking for a technical leader who can combine strong integration architecture expertise with delivery leadership and operational discipline, working effectively across business and technology teams.

  • Integration Delivery & Team Leadership
  • Lead the planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of enterprise integrations, managing multiple concurrent initiatives and establishing clear priorities, ownership, and accountability across the team.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop integration engineers and technical contractors across geographically distributed teams, providing technical coaching, design reviews, and support for resource planning and succession.
  • Integration Architecture, Platform & Standards
  • Partner with the Director of Digital Integrations to implement Odyssey's enterprise integration strategy, promoting reusable patterns, canonical data models, and standardized frameworks across Boomi iPaaS, APIs, EDI/B2B, and enterprise application integrations (TMS, ERP, and other Odyssey platforms).
  • Drive adoption of RESTful, API-first integration patterns and modern B2B/EDI connectivity (X12, EDIFACT, AS2, SFTP), while helping modernize legacy integrations and maintaining operational continuity for existing customers and carriers.
  • Production Reliability & Stakeholder Leadership
  • Provide leadership during production incidents and integration-related escalations, ensuring monitoring, alerting, and error-handling procedures are implemented consistently, and leading root-cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Serve as a trusted integration leader for business stakeholders, customers, vendors, and technology partners, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and communicating clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Continuous Improvement & AI-Enabled Innovation
  • Identify opportunities to improve integration delivery speed, reliability, and supportability, evaluating new integration capabilities and emerging technologies that could improve Odyssey's digital ecosystem.
  • Identify and evaluate practical opportunities to adopt AI-assisted capabilities across integration design, development, testing, and support, establishing appropriate guardrails for validation, security, and human review.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration, middleware, EDI/B2B, API development, or related technology disciplines, with 2+ years of technical or team leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex integrations across multiple enterprise systems, with the proven ability to operate independently alongside senior business and technology leadership
  • Strong experience with several of the following: Boomi or comparable enterprise iPaaS technology; REST APIs and API management; XML, JSON, XSLT, and flat-file formats; EDI X12 and/or EDIFACT; AS2, SFTP, HTTPS, and related B2B protocols; OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, and integration security; and CI/CD, source control, and modern development lifecycle practices
  • Strong technical leadership, strategic thinking, and architecture and design skills, with excellent cross-functional and executive communication abilities
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, 3PL/4PL, freight brokerage, or managed transportation is strongly preferred; Boomi or comparable integration-platform certifications, and exposure to AI-assisted integration development, are also a plus
