Projectionist

SUMMARY

The Projectionist is responsible for operating and maintaining projection equipment in the theatre in a professional and timely manner. The position requires a basic knowledge of projector and sound systems. The Projectionist may be responsible to assist with other duties as assigned.

SPECIFIC DUTIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO)

• Receives hard drives and key for each movie and downloads onto server and makes sure all are working properly.
• Handles and maintain operating projection equipment.
• Troubleshoots any technical issues in a timely manner.
• May at times need to check people in for movies and provide attendance to Box Office Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluent in English.
• Able to understand the movie installation and playback process.
• Good hand eye coordination.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to lift and carry 20-pounds.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience At least (1) year of experienced is preferred. On the Job Training will be provided.

Licenses, Certificates, or Other:

Must have a valid Florida Driver's License.

Any combination of the above education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties for the position will be considered.
