Description:

The Permanent Building/Behavioral Support Substitute will report for work each directly to the building assigned. This position reports every day that students report. Primary responsibilities of the Permanent Building Substitute will be to fill teacher vacancies and absences as well as provide building wide behavioral support.

Candidate must be an approved substitute teacher for Clarkston schools and approved/employed through Edustaff.

Qualifications:

Possess a valid Michigan teacher's certificate (preferred), OR a minimum of 60 college credits required with a sub permit Previous experience preferred working in a district as a regular sub Ability to develop genuine and positive relationships with students Ability to facilitate student learning, growth and achievement Ability to build professional and collegial relations with staff and parents Ability and desire to adapt, learn and grow as an educator Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function

Rate of Pay: $175.00 per day
