The associate also serves as a teaching assistant, working alongside instructors to support learners, reinforce approved lessons, and assist with hands-on activities. The role offers an opportunity to build instructional skills and develop toward a future trainer position through mentoring, practice, and demonstrated readiness. This position supports the planning, preparation, documentation, and delivery of training activities. Course content, technical information, schedules, and final materials must be reviewed and approved by Training Department leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with setting up classrooms, labs, meeting spaces, equipment, tools, signage, and course materials before training sessions.
  • Prepare, organize, print, assemble, and distribute instructor guides, participant handouts, checklists, presentations, and supporting materials.
  • Assist with creating and updating training diagrams, visual aids, process illustrations, presentations, and other instructional content.
  • Format and maintain training documents, templates, course outlines, lesson plans, standard operating procedures, and reference guides.
  • Maintain training folders, file naming standards, document revisions, attendance records, completion records, and course rosters.
  • Support instructors and Training Department staff during classes, workshops, demonstrations, and company training events.
  • Serve as a teaching assistant during classroom and lab sessions by helping participants follow instructions, use course materials, and complete assigned learning activities under the lead instructor’s direction.
  • Reinforce approved lesson content through individual and small-group assistance, communicate learner questions or difficulties to the instructor, and refer technical questions beyond assigned knowledge to the appropriate trainer.
  • Observe experienced trainers, rehearse demonstrations, and gradually deliver approved lesson segments or co-facilitate activities under instructor supervision as authorized by Training Department leadership.
  • Assist with scheduling, invitations, registrations, reminders, room coordination, and communication with participants.

Qualification

  • 1-3 years of experience in training support, administrative support, documentation, graphic or technical content creation, or a related role.
  • Strong organization, record-keeping, and follow-up skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and presentation quality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to create clear, professional diagrams, presentations, handouts, and training materials using established templates and direction.
  • Ability to manage multiple assigned tasks, schedules, and deadlines.
  • Patience when helping learners, comfort speaking to groups, and an interest in developing teaching, presentation, and hands-on demonstration skills through coaching and practice.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to support instructors and participants.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting corporate, technical, construction, telecommunications, or data center training.
  • Experience creating diagrams or visual learning materials.
  • Experience working with PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe products, Canva, SharePoint, or a learning management system.
  • Experience coordinating classrooms, labs, workshops, or events.
