This is a dynamic, multifaceted role for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep an organization running smoothly, build strong relationships, and support meaningful work in the community.
As a key administrative partner to executive leadership, you will help manage day-to-day priorities, coordinate meetings and special projects, prepare reports and presentations, and ensure important information is organized, accurate, and communicated effectively. You will serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external partners, using sound judgment, discretion, and a strong commitment to confidentiality in all interactions.
This role also plays an important part in supporting the NCSS Board of Directors. You will coordinate board meeting logistics, compile monthly reports and data dashboards, maintain official records, and help ensure board materials and communications are prepared accurately and on time. Your ability to anticipate needs, track deadlines, and bring together information from across the agency will help leadership make informed decisions and stay focused on organizational priorities.
The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. They bring excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information with care. If you enjoy variety in your work, take pride in creating order and efficiency, and want to contribute to an organization that makes a difference in people's lives, we would love to hear from you.
