NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking an exceptional Managing Partner of Operations to lead Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery in Fort Myers, Florida.
This opportunity is designed for a true business and people leader with strong operational acumen, a passion for developing teams, and the ability to drive results with integrity and purpose.
Fort Myers Memorial Gardens has been serving families in Southwest Florida since 1954, providing funeral, cremation, and cemetery services from a beautifully landscaped property in the heart of Fort Myers. The location has built a longstanding presence in the community and serves families across Southwest Florida.
At NorthStar, our collaborative Managing Partner structure empowers leaders to think and act like owners. You’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on families, your team, the community, and the performance of the business while championing the entrepreneurial spirit that defines our organization.
As Managing Partner, you will be accountable for the success of the funeral home and cemetery operations. You’ll set the vision, establish clear and achievable goals, develop your people, and create an environment where every team member understands how their contribution drives growth and long-term success.
Dedication is valued here. Potential is recognized. Ethical leadership is celebrated.
Why Fort Myers?
This is more than an opportunity to lead an outstanding business. It’s an opportunity to build a career and life in Southwest Florida.

What You’ll Do:

- Drive growth and profitability. Own location performance and achieve case volume, revenue, and business objectives through disciplined execution and leadership.
- Build a winning team. Recruit, coach, develop, and inspire employees while modeling NorthStar’s mission, values, and leadership standards.
- Create a culture of accountability. Establish clear expectations and foster an environment built around collaboration, ownership, continuous improvement, and results.
- Think like an owner. Understand the complete operation, identify opportunities, solve problems, and make sound business decisions that position the location for sustainable growth.
- Be a visible community leader. Build relationships with churches, hospitals, senior-living communities, veterans' organizations, civic groups, and community partners throughout the Fort Myers area.
- Strengthen an established legacy. Continue building upon Fort Myers Memorial Gardens' longstanding presence as a trusted provider to Southwest Florida families.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of business or military leadership experience, with demonstrated understanding of both sales and operational management (cemetery and funeral experience preferred)
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate strategy into execution
- Proven success leading, coaching, and developing teams
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities
- A track record of creating accountability while building engaged, high-performing teams
- The confidence to make decisions, address challenges, and take ownership of results
- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to move seamlessly between strategic thinking and day-to-day execution
- Strong relationship-building and community engagement skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
