Service Advisor

North Star Auto is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team in Cranberry, PA. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their vehicle service experience is smooth, efficient, and satisfactory. You will work closely with our service technicians to communicate customer needs and provide timely updates.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their vehicle service needs.
• Provide accurate estimates and explain service procedures and costs clearly.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, vehicle history, and service requests.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Manage service scheduling and workflow to maximize efficiency.
• Distribute work to technicians in a timely order.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and explain automotive service and repair work.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with basic computer applications and service management software.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive certifications are a plus.
• CDK experience is a plus.
• GM certified is a plus.
