Plant Worker/General Laborer

We are a small industrial material processing company looking for a full time plant worker/general laborer. A good fit for our company is someone that enjoys working with their hands and does not mind getting dirty or working outside year round.

Hours required:

This position's hours are M-F 7a-3p.

Frequent overtime is available with this position.

Employee will start off operating a bagging machine. Skid steer and loader training will follow. Tasks may be assigned to support plant manager as needed.

We train employees on-site who do not possess any experience.

Job Duties:

• Shoveling under conveyors
• Loading out material shipments
• Operating wheel loader to feed processing plant and loading semi-trailers
• Operating skid steer to load semi-trailers
• Operating skid steer to transport packaged material
• Climbing ladders of various lengths (10ft - 70ft)
• Machine maintenance
• Screen changes in screener
• Bagging material in vinyl supersack bags
• Operating pneumatic 50-pound bagging machine
• Various work with hand tools
• Heavy lifting of parts/tools

Experience a plus in:

• Operating skid steer and wheel loader
• Servicing screw conveyors
• Arc welding, torch cutting
• Diesel equipment maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience
