Commercial Roofing Estimator

We are partnered with a growing Commercial Roofing contractor located in Chicago, IL. They are looking for a Commercial Roofing Estimator to join their team! This is a hybrid position. Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to drive their commercial and industrial roofing business forward. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for:

• Responding to RFPs, preparing bids, and securing new roofing jobs
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Conducting onsite roof surveys to estimate preventative maintenance, services, and projects
• Identifying sales opportunities from preventative maintenance, due diligence reports, and service repairs

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate and bid on commercial and industrial roofing projects
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, and manufacturers
• Conduct site surveys and prepare estimates for roofing services
• Collaborate with service and project management teams to transition proposals to active projects
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, processes, and techniques

Requirements

• Experience in commercial roofing estimation
• In-depth knowledge of single-ply roofing materials and attachment methods
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and calculations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver a 28' ladder independently, as well as perform other physically demanding tasks as needed

$70k - $105k DOE + Bonus/Commission
