The SQL Developer with DBA experience will ensure the reliability, performance, security, scalability, and modernization of business-critical SQL Server platforms supporting semiconductor and telecommunications manufacturing. This role combines expert database administration with advanced T-SQL development and requires experience supporting downtime-sensitive, 24O7 production environments.
- Administer, monitor, secure, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot enterprise SQL Server environments.
- Design and test backup, recovery, high-availability, and disaster-recovery solutions.
- Develop, optimize, and debug complex T-SQL and stored procedures; improve data models and indexes; establish coding standards; and conduct peer reviews.
- Develop and design SSIS and ETL packages and frameworks, including control-flow and data-flow patterns, SSISDB catalog configuration, project deployment, parameters, environments, incremental and delta loads, error handling, logging, and performance tuning.
- Perform execution-plan, Query Store, DMV, wait-statistics, tempdb, memory, blocking, and deadlock analysis.
- Lead database modernization, consolidation, migration, cloud adoption, and scalable architecture initiatives.
- Minimize manufacturing downtime through proactive monitoring, controlled changes, tested recovery, and rapid incident response.
