Enterprise Information Display System (E-IDS) is a new system under development that will provide a modern auxiliary information display to Air Traffic Controllers in the National Airspace System (NAS). E-IDS will consolidate several legacy IDS systems into a common platform to provide controllers with current and consistent information needed to perform air traffic operations from both local and enterprise sources. E-IDS will use a common hardware and software platform across over 400 NAS facilities, including En Route, Terminal, Tower, and Offshore domains.Come and be a part of our dynamic team, where your contributions will not only advance the aviation industry but also contribute to a safer, more sustainable future in air travel. Apply now and take flight towards a rewarding career that promises growth, innovation, and collaboration at the forefront of aviation technology.

The primary focus of this role is designing, building, and configuring information displays for Air Traffic Controllers using the E-IDS platform.

Key Areas of Focus:

  • ATC Display Development: Build and configure customized displays for Air Traffic Control users, including selecting, assigning, and arranging widgets based on operational needs.
  • UI/UX: Apply user interface and user experience principles to develop intuitive, functional displays that support ATC operations.
  • Widget Configuration and Data Integration: Utilize the E-IDS toolset to configure widgets, connect them to appropriate datasets, and ensure accurate presentation of operational information.
  • ATC Domain Expertise: Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Air Traffic Control operations, workflows, and information requirements to understand what controllers need to see on their displays.
  • E-IDS Modernization: Support the implementation of E-IDS, which will consolidate and replace five legacy information display systems with a modern, standardized platform.
