We are seeking a 2027 summer intern to support our Learning Management and Support Services (LMSS) contract with our Intelligence Community client. At Noblis, our LMSS contract has numerous teams that support the educational and professional development for our client’s workforce. In this project, the intern will work with our Curriculum Management team and support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of engaging and effective learning solutions.
A successful candidate will be able to design and develop web-based training (WBT), instructor-led training (ILT), and virtual instructor-led training (VILT) while leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) tools and methods to increase efficiency, innovation, and impact. They will also be a self-starter and take ownership of their projects, be a good communicator, and be able to track requirements across multiple projects. They will also be familiar with instructional methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM, or others. A successful candidate will be able to work on-site the majority of the week (Reston and Springfield).
You’ll leave this internship with:

- Experience interfacing with clients and stakeholders in a professional work environment.
- Mentorship from seasoned learning and development professionals.
- Leadership, communication, and public speaking experience.
- An extensive network of Noblis’ professionals and 2027 intern cohort.
Responsibilities:
- Work with instructional designers (ISDs) to assess and implement adjustments to learning solutions, maintain existing course materials according to client and accreditation standards, and maximize continuous improvement.
- Meet regularly with stakeholders to gather information, ideate on evidence-based instructional design and delivery techniques, employ innovative and efficient methods, and incorporate collected feedback throughout the course development process.
- Design synchronous/asynchronous instructional materials and performance support tools that effectively improve learner performance while minimizing impact to time away from mission.
- Explore and apply AI-enabled tools to aid in the support of curriculum development.
- Contribute to pilot projects that evaluate and integrate AI into instructional design workflows, documenting lessons learned and best practices.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deliverable deadlines.
