Farmworker

Anticipated period of employment: 11/30/2026 to 09/01/2027 3 months verifiable experience required. Operate and maintain various agricultural equipment including tractors, rototillers, plows, harrows, and cultivators for outdoor land preparation. Clear land of rocks, debris, and previous crop residues using hand tools and machinery. Perform plowing, disking, and tilling operations to prepare seedbeds for planting. Mark and form planting rows, beds, and furrows according to planting plans. Apply soil amendments (compost, fertilizers, lime) based on soil test recommendations and supervisor instructions. Install and maintain field irrigation systems including drip tape, sprinklers, and movable irrigation lines. Lay and secure plastic mulch, landscape fabric, or other ground cover materials.
