Lab Tech, Colorado

The Lab Technician is an established position within a high volume regulated Medical and Adult-use licensed Manufacturer of Infused Products. The Lab Technician is responsible for various duties within the Distillation Department whilst working compliantly within state and federal regulatory frameworks.

DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITI ES · Clean Equipment and Glassware with great attention to detail. · Work with Lead Lab Technician to help improve processes as well as identify any potential bottle necks on the production floor. · Help check in incoming material and organize in the storage room. · Grind and Pack material into bags for extraction. · Operate Ethanol extraction/Filtration equipment (Cup-15/Ertel Alsop Canna Skid) · Operate Distillation Equipment (Various Wiped Film set ups- Pope/VTA) · Transfill Ethanol. · Keep lab clean (ie. walls, surfaces, floors, etc.) · Maintain levels of supplies (ie. Ethanol) · Remove trash and green waste from lab. · WORKING CONDITIONS

Production floor environment. Must wear required PPE, including mask, hairnet and lab coat when on production floor. Requires lifting 50+ lbs.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

REQUIREMENTS

· Experience with using hand tools · 1 year Industry Experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

REQUIREMENTS

· 1+ years experience in a Laboratory setting. · Intermediate-Advanced MS excel, MS Word and Google Sheet skills · Exceptional experience using hand tools such as torque wrenches · 2+ years Industry Experience

MINIMUM EDUCATION

HS Diploma or equivalent

· Strong verbal and written communication skills · Capabilities with computer systems, software and hardware common to manufacturing facilities · Possess a valid and current MED Badge · Excellent attention to detail · Sound organizational proficiencies · Ability to conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner · Critical time management · Ability to identify and effectively prioritize actions and requirements. · Deep knowledge of extraction and refinement processes

· Ability to stand for long periods of time as required · Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with fingers, type. · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs · Work evenings as required during Covid outbreak schedule or when adding new shifts
