Client Solutions is Newmark's agnostic corporate pursuit team, here to partner with Leasing and Occupier Solutions, including every service line within them, to give each pursuit its best chance to win.

This role owns the pursuit process itself and makes sure the strategy set by the Director is executed on schedule, to a high standard, and without drift. Where the Director owns the external relationship and the strategic direction, the Manager owns the mechanics, the materials, the tracking, the coordination, and the documentation that turn strategy into a finished submission.

This is a hands-on, detail-driven role for someone who is comfortable managing several pursuits and deadlines at once, and who can work across brokerage, service lines, marketing, and design to keep each pursuit moving.

This person is also expected to use AI tools deliberately and consistently to improve the speed and quality of the pursuit process, from research and drafting through tracking and quality review.

  • Manage the day-to-day pursuit process for assigned opportunities, keeping the Opportunity Framework, scoring, and tracking current throughout the pursuit and not only at kickoff.
  • Translate the Director's strategy and win themes into concrete materials and deliverables, and review everything before it goes out so that drift is caught before it reaches the client.
  • Direct the development of pursuit materials in partnership with marketing and design, holding the line on quality and brand standards and setting timelines that avoid last-minute pressure.
  • Assemble and coordinate the pursuit team for each opportunity, including brokers, service line leaders, subject matter experts, and marketing and design support.
  • Track requirements, submission deadlines, and internal review checkpoints for each pursuit to keep it on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate, current documentation for every active pursuit, including win and loss tracking.
  • Report pursuit status and team bandwidth transparently.
  • Identify where the pursuit process breaks down, recommend fixes, and help train new team members on process, tools, and standards.
  • Use AI-enabled research, writing, and productivity tools as a core part of the day-to-day pursuit workflow, applying them to accelerate drafting, tracking, and quality review.
  • Work alongside the other Managers on the Client Solutions team, sharing tools, templates, and best practices across pursuits.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, marketing, proposal management, or a related operational role.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review materials and catch inconsistencies before they reach the client.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce polished, client-ready materials in partnership with designers.
  • Comfort supporting a client-facing Director and owning the execution of a pursuit rather than the client relationship.
  • Ability to work across brokerage, service line, marketing, and design teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong understanding of how to apply AI-enabled tools to research, drafting, and pursuit workflow efficiency.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to travel as needed in support of pursuit activity.
