Registered Behavior Technician - Richmond, Virginia At New Patterns ABA VA, we are dedicated to empowering individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities to reach their full potential. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a vital role in our mission to provide compassionate, flexible, and collaborative in-home and community-based ABA therapy. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate RBTs to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

About the Role:

As an RBT at New Patterns ABA VA, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 therapy to clients in-home and community-based settings
• Implementing individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA
• Collecting and recording data on client progress and behaviors
• Assisting in the development of behavior intervention strategies
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions
• Maintaining a positive and supportive relationship with clients and their families
• Adhering to ethical guidelines and standards of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Qualifications:

We are seeking applicants with the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current RBT certification through the BACB (preferred)
• Reliable transportation
• Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Flexibility, empathy, patience, and a solution-oriented, client-centered approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, timeliness, and effective time management skills
